I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to those of you I haven't yet had a chance to speak with. My name is Brad Townley, and I'm the Parliamentarian for the Utah and Salt Lake County Democratic Parties. It has been my privilege to serve you these past few years, helping to run conventions and central committee meetings, moderate debates, and mediate disputes.

I've been especially grateful for the chance this has provided me to get to know Democrats all over the state and to help everyone --from new delegates to party leaders-- understand their roles and responsibilities, and how our party operates. And I've also been fortunate to have had several opportunities to help Democratic parties in other states, allowing me to build relationships with executive committee and DNC members across the country.

During my tenure, I've worked with Democrats across the political spectrum, helping build a party that is fairer, more inclusive, and more transparent. I'm proud to say that this work has helped me to earn endorsements from the local leadership teams of the Utah for Bernie, Utah for Biden, Utah for Warren, and Utah for Pete campaigns. And I'm honored to also have the support of more than 35 current and former County Party and Legislative District Officers in Utah, and another half dozen Democratic National Committee members from other states.

During my tenure, I've worked with Democrats across the political spectrum, helping build a party that is fairer, more inclusive, and more transparent.

Utah Democratic Party Forum Questions

Dear Party Member,
In this new world of virtual space, we want to give you an opportunity to ask our candidates some questions. Your voice, your words are central to our ability to conduct these democratic processes. We are holding a series of forums sponsored by the State Party and these questions will be considered for those events.
